Deep ruby in colour with herb and spice aromas. The full-bodied palate of dark berry fruits is complimented by nicely rounded tannins.
Mourvèdre is the definitive grape in Bandol as it flourishes here, assisted by a long ripening season, cooling sea breezes and a sandy soil. It comes into its own with about 3 years bottle-age (but will keep for a decade or more) and is ideally suited to grilled meat dishes.

As I so often say, if this were a Bordeaux you’d be paying two or three times the price...
