Côtes du Rhône: Pascal Frères 'Cuvée Personelle' 2018
A négociant wine that has graced these pages for decades coming from our old chum Yves Chéron's 'Pascal Frères' stable. Their über-reliable 'Cuvée Personelle', from a Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvèdre blend, has deservedly garnered a loyal following. It drinks very well with 3-5 years bottle-age.
A quintessential commercial Côtes du Rhône wine with soft supple tannins, good brambly fruit and a warming, spicy finish.

Pascal Frères
Yves Chéron (aka Pascal Frères) is a Négociant-Vinificateur – a wine merchant and winemaker, who lives on an attractive estate below the Dentelles de Montmirail. He produces his own Gigondas, Grand Montmirail, from vineyards at the domaine, as well as vinifying wines from bought-in grapes at his négociant enterprise, Pascal Frères, which is situated between Gigondas and Vacqueyras.
