Yapp Côtes du Rhône Red 2020
This terrifically versatile, mid-weight Grenache - Syrah blend is our sole geographic own label wine, deriving from the Côtes-du-Rhône... where else? It's rapport qualité-prix has proved hugely popular since we first introduced it to our customers in 2018.
From steeply-terraced vineyards around the village of Bourg-Saint-Andéol, with similar soils to much of the Rhône valley - galets roulés and gravel. Garnet colour, with a bouquet of raspberries, red fruit and spices. Nice length, round palate with silky and fine tannins. Serve with lamb, Mediterranean dishes, or a tagine with couscous.

Yapp Own Label Wines
Jason and Tom select the wines for the Yapp own labels annually.
"It is imperative that the wines bearing our name provide the same price to quality ratio as the rest of our portfolio. To a certain degree, it is as much of a challenge to find great wine for every day drinking, as it is to discover those world-renowned agencies."
Jason Yapp, Director of Wine.
