Yapp Own Label Rosé 2023

This 'house' rosé completes our trio of reliable, bon marché own label wines under screwcap. This brick-pink blend of Grenache (approx. 70%) and Merlot is sufficiently refreshing to serve as an aperitif sur terrasse, yet robust enough to complement a wide range of dishes - shellfish, fish, charcuterie or goats' cheese.

Tasting Notes

The Yapp Brothers own label rosé wine is produced by the reliable Ardèche co-operative - usually a blend of Grenache and Merlot from the Ardèche, bottled under screwcap which makes it ideal for picnics. A great value wine with good acidity and fresh berry flavours - drink on it's own or perfect for barbecues.

Yapp Own Label Wines

Jason and Tom select the wines for the Yapp own labels annually.

"It is imperative that the wines bearing our name provide the same price to quality ratio as the rest of our portfolio. To a certain degree, it is as much of a challenge to find great wine for every day drinking, as it is to discover those world-renowned agencies."
Jason Yapp, Director of Wine.
