Scrumptious, soyeux, Chateauneuf’ that was consumed with gusto at recent Yapp Christmas party.

This is the Boissons principal red bottling of Châteauneuf’, called simply ‘Domaine du Père Caboche’. It is blended from 70% Grenache Noir, 10% each of Mourvèdre and Syrah and a diverse ‘field blend’ of lesser varieties. It is always a juicy, voluptuous, ‘come-hither’ wine with abundant ripe fruit and silky tannins.
Having enjoyed some fine bottles over the Festive Season we have been sharpening our palates and pencils and looking forward to the year ahead.

International Wine Challenge Awards 2011
Yapp Brothers were delighted to win the Rhône Specialist Wine Merchant of the Year award for a consecutive year at the 2011 International Wine Challenge. We were also shortlisted for the Regional France Specialist of the Year, and Loire Specialist Wine Merchant of the year.
