Chablis: Domaine Christophe Camu 2023

Classy, unoaked Chablis from a talented, sixth generation winemaker. It is light and supple enough to savor without accompaniment but will take all manner of crustacea and seafood in its stride.

Tasting Notes

This versatile, fresh, apple-scented, mid-weight Chablis is made from pure Chardonnay grown on free-draining, calciferous soil. It has a limpid, golden-green hue, green apple aromas and fresh, fruit-laden palate underscored by a nervy minerality.

Domaine Christophe Camu

Father and son Christophe and Dylan Camu represent the 6th and 7th generations of their family to make wine in Chablis where they tend 13 hectares of vines encompassing Petit Chablis, Chablis, Premier and Grand Cru appellations. Over the past few years he has incorporated into his operation the vines of his mother and step-father (long-standing Yapp suppliers Martine & Patrick Guitton) as they moved into retirement.
