Vacqueyras: La Grand Comtadine 'Cuvée Spéciale' 2020
This Vacqueyras wine is a silky, spicy Southern Rhône Grenache blend that impresses customers and staff alike in successive vintages. Subtle enough to enjoy on its own, but sublime when paired with game dishes.
This négociant release Vacqueyras wine from the ever-reliable Yves Cheron is equally commendable but arguably a tad more forward and less complex than his Gigondas bottling, making for extremely versatile drinking.
