Moving information and Big Bin End Sale
Our contractors have been busy refurbishing and refitting our new home in Sparkford, and we are sufficiently confident of their progress to announce a moving date of Saturday 15th June. That's when we will be closing for a few days in order to move lock, stock and many pallets of wine down the A303 to re-open on Wednesday 19th June. Here are a few pictures of our new digs to give you a flavour!
Of course, this epic endeavour creates an opportunity for a Bin End Sale to end all Bin End Sales. So, over Thursday 23rd, Friday 24th and Saturday 25th May (9.00AM – 5.00PM), we will have aisles full of discounted bottles and Yapp brocante (artwork, artefacts, books, original wine boxes) for sale. Don't miss out on this prodigious chance to plunder our cellars and fill yours!

When will we move?
We will close Mere at 5.00PM on Friday 14th June and open our new premises in Sparkford on Wednesday 19th June. We won't be selling or sending out any wine over those four days in-between.
Will the Mere site close?
Yes, but we are holding a monster Bin End Sale from Thursday 23rd to Saturday 25th May (9.00AM – 5.00PM), when we will be selling bottles, artwork, books and other paraphernalia that won't be heading West with us. After that, we will continue to operate out of Mere (including the shop) right up until 5.00PM on Friday 14th June, with normal hours.
Will your opening hours remain the same in Sparkford?
Yes, we will continue to open 9.00AM to 5.00PM, Monday to Saturday. You will still be able to drop in to buy individual bottles and seek wine advice in the new premises.
What happens to my wine in storage with you?
We will carefully move any customers' wine that we have in storage to our new air-conditioned storage in Sparkford.
Can you tell us anything about the new site?
It is two minutes off the Hazelgrove roundabout on the A303 (and A359), around 15 minutes west of Mere. Our new premises are on the High Street in Sparkford, opposite the Sparkford Inn. They were formerly the printworks of Haynes Motor Manuals.
PS: Someone actually found room on their driveway for the two tonne distillerie ambulante!
